Specialties

As a therapist, I utilize a psychodynamic perspective, but also incorporate components of acceptance and commitment therapy, depending on the needs of each client. My goal is to provide an empathetic and judgement-free space in which clients can share their backgrounds and challenges to move towards insight and positive growth. My clinical specialties include eating disorders, self-esteem, body image, and the connection between physical health and emotional well being.

Why I Do What I Do

I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health, empowering clients to accept and love themselves and validating their past and current struggles. I do this work because I know how healing it is to feel truly seen and to grow through one's struggles in an empathetic, safe and non-judgemental space.

What kind of counseling do you practice, and do you use any alternative healing modalities?
