About

Hello! Life can throw you a curve ball now and then. My name is Letrice Deloach LPC, NCC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia, as well as National Certified Counselor. I attended Spelman College for my undergraduate and received my master’s degree from Clark Atlanta University. I am currently working on my PsyD at California Southern University.

I am committed to the success of my clients. My goal is to work in partnership with people, provide support, guidance and genuine care. To further support you, I have training in Gottman’s Couples Therapy and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Starting therapy can be uncomfortable, so I believe in starting in an environment of comfort! Thus, I also have training specifically in telehealth.

It takes courage to seek out a therapist, and I hope you allow me the opportunity to walk with you during this journey.

Specialties

I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, issues with self-esteem, grief, LGBT issues, marriage matters, anger management, PTSD, major life transitions, trauma and more. I have worked with individuals, couples and elderly adults conducting individual and group sessions.

My goal is to assist individuals and families in working towards fulfilling their fullest potential, healing inner child wounding and trauma, and regaining a new perspective on life. I assist my clients in learning how to be your "unapologetic self" while finding balance! My approach is based on developing an authentic relationship, built on self-acceptance, self -awareness, discovery, empowerment and bringing light to situations that may appear dark.

Why I Do What I Do

What kind of counseling do you practice, and do you use any alternative healing modalities?

I would describe my therapeutic lens to therapy as eclectic, drawing on a variety of modalities to best serve a client’s needs and goals. The modalities that have proven most useful are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Expressive Therapy and Mindfulness-based / Meditation Therapy. I assist and guide individuals through inner knowing, interpersonal changes and healing. I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment to explore what is missing and how-to bring balance. Using a collaborative approach, I integrate evidence-based practices, expressive therapy, and mindfulness & meditation techniques to help with self-expression and provide the emotional support needed.
