About


I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University in 1997. Since then, I have worked with teens, adults, families and couples in a variety of clinical settings. I strive to build authentic client relationships, founded in unconditional positive regard in order to facilitate holistic growth and healing. I have counseled culturally diverse populations and embrace principles of inclusion, which inform my ability to build relationships with persons from all walks of life and varied experiences.

I have worked extensively with clients who are dealing with trauma, mood disorders, relationship conflicts, family of origin issues and life crises related to identity (especially race/sexual orientation/gender identity). My therapeutic interventions are eclectic, strengths-based and person-centered, empowering clients to meet their uniquely identified goals.
